Jeff has touched so many lives, Those of us who have known Jeff most of his adult life, know he was what made this earth a better place… The Jeff I also knew growing up was what I remember fondly.
Jeff has always been part of my life, as I was fortunate to have known him for over 50 yrs. The oldest of us close friends, we were affectionately known as the bicycle gang. Named as teenagers from a neighborhood guy we called Rufus. Jeff was so fond of Rufus, he named his first dog after him. We were like adopted kids to Rufus. My memories are of Rufus treating us like the kids he never had. I know this was a special part of Jeff’s life, he talked about it often. We were carefree kids, all brothers from another mother. Jeff gave me(and the gang) a lifetime of memories, full of a lot of laughs, and sometimes when something politically rub him the wrong way, he would let us know. The bicycle gang, we were 6 now 5. Jeff was the proverbial glue that keeps us together in his own way. Always the wiser, and always caring to those around him. We will miss you a lot, my friend.
